A legacy for CEC

Your Will – and CEC

The Council for Education in the Commonwealth depends on it members for many things.

•    It has members who are educational experts in their fields;
•    It has a very strong connection to Parliament and the political process;
•    It has a dedicated group of members who provide both funds (through their subscriptions) to the CEC as well support for its meetings and conferences.

Because of these strengths, CEC has become a leading organisation in promoting the cause of education in all parts of the Commonwealth.

To be able to do this, it has to have the resources. The reality is that it is run on a financial shoe string. It does get some grants – but these are all restricted in what they can be used for. Its basic finances are very limited.

You could make a difference to the future work of the Council if you were to leave a legacy to the CEC. Such a contribution to the future work of the Council would allow our successors to be able to continue to promote the aims of education in the Commonwealth without always having to worry about the resources needed.

Will you do this?
